At Red Squirrel Property Shop we handle property sales, lettings and maintenance. We take pride in what we do and want it to be done to the best standard possible. We are a family run business with over 180 years’ combined experience both locally and on the mainland. We are a devoted team who dedicate our time to supply the best service possible, therefore we believe that a friendly and supportive approach and attitude is extremely important to all our customers.

Meet the Team

Stuart Punter
Director

I am a Director and Shareholder of Red Squirrel Property Shop. I have many years of experience and have worked in several large Estate Agencies, starting out as trainee negotiator and working my way up to Branch Manager of a major corporate branch within my first 4 years. I am City & Guilds accredited, and recognised by the Property Ombudsman Scheme. Brought up on the Island, my wife and I decided to open Red Squirrel Property Shop LTD to offer our future clients a more personal, professional and local approach to buying, selling and letting. I have listened over the years to what the public expect from their agent and have found most agents fall short of expectations. By learning from their mistakes, I was determined to buck the trend and deliver a new set of standards in Estate Agency.

Outside of work

Within my spare time I enjoy doing a variety of things. Of course, I enjoy relaxing, this could be at home with my family or friends, or at the beach on a nice summers day. I also enjoy gardening and travelling.

Eileen Punter
Director

I am a Director and shareholder of Red Squirrel Property Shop. I was brought up on the Island, and I have been a professional landlord, property manager and property developer for over 30 years during which time I have developed a comprehensive and incisive knowledge of the lettings industry on the Island and in London. I’m always friendly and very approachable and remain acutely aware of the considerable responsibility and trust that landlords place in the team. I’m also accredited by the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme, a member of the NLA and the Isle of Wight Executive Landlord Group all helping to fully understand, first hand, what Landlords and Tenants expect.

Outside of work

Out of work I love spending time with my grandchildren (Reggie, Theo, Marcia, Toby & Ruby). I will often take them out for the day, it could be down on the beach, to the cinema or even on a nice walk. I also enjoy reading, swimming, entertaining friends & family and decorating my home.

Charlie Panayi
Business Manager

I am an exceptionally experienced, very friendly and accomplished Negotiator and Business Manager who is now responsible for managing all Red Squirrel Property Shop LTD clients. Being a shareholder I am very committed to ensuring that each Red Squirrel Property Shop LTD customer receives a stress free, first class service. Originally coming from a customer experience industry, property started out as a hobby for me, having been investing/letting/developing properties for 10 years. I have had 10 years of personal experience in both London and Isle of Wight in sales, lettings, developing and managing properties. I firmly believe in the personal and honest service that Red Squirrel Property Shop pride themselves in and I use my direct approach with all customers to try and help understand their requirements so I can help them in finding their dream home, selling within a reasonable timeframe or letting a property out promptly for them.

Outside of work

I tend to spend most of my spare time with friends or family. Outside of that I am a keen sports enthusiast, playing football at least two times a week, gym and other exercise classes. Travelling the world is something I have always ensured I do, I aim to visit at least two new places a year around the world, whilst making sure I can fit in surfing and scuba diving!

Karen Jardine
Senior Lettings Consultant

As a Senior Lettings Consultant, I have over 30 years’ experience in the personal property sector. In 2011 I sold my very successful Florist business and decided to pursue my second passion...the love of property...working as a Senior Letting Consultant, I have worked closely with Landlords and Tenants ensuring a smooth process through all aspects of property letting. I strongly believe the key to a successful Tenancy is communication, keeping Landlords and Tenants informed every step of the way, whether you are a property developer with a large portfolio of properties or an individual Landlord who wants to let their property for the first time and is looking for a tenant who will love the property as much as they do. Finding a suitable tenant is of the upmost importance. I have a real passion for property and people, always wanting to go that extra mile to ensure everyone is happy. I will always offer an individual personal approach to best serve the needs of the Landlord and Tenant.

Outside of work

During my spare time I like to spend time with family and friends, I have a passion for Arts & Crafts and enjoy anything creative from Cooking, Interior Design to Flower Arranging.

Wendy Anderson
Senior Negotiator

Working closely with Charlie, I bring several years’ working experience as a Negotiator in Estate Agency, I also personally develop, let and manage several properties. As a relatively new islander (I moved here in 2011), I understand relocation, investment, and the permanent and holiday home market. With many years in customer service, I pride myself on a proactive manner and a diligence at providing an excellent service through communication and discussion. I am a well-respected Negotiator able to give solid advice and guidance and help both buyers and sellers reach their goals. As I always say, “Sellers want to sell, buyers want to buy – what we need to do is make it happen”. With my ‘can do’ attitude, I have every faith that I can be roaring success.

Outside of work

I enjoy interior design, constantly working on decorating my home and finding the perfect furniture to suit my style. I also enjoy cooking, every week I cook a variety of different dishes.

Tamara Rice
Maintenance Coordinator

I joined the team as an apprentice administrator. After several years and having surpassed all expectations I’m now an integral part of the team, working closely with the lettings & maintenance team to deliver the best possible customer experience for all Red Squirrel landlords. I have been an Island resident all my life, and with my family being in the building trade I have a strong interest in the property industry. I was keen to join the team at Red Squirrel to learn from the vast amount of experience within the company, and Red Squirrel in turn strongly believe that giving a young person like me the opportunity to learn and develop within a business organisation is an integral part of building the local business trade on the Isle of Wight.

Outside of work

In my spare time, I enjoy doing lots of things. I’m really interested in photography, I like going to new places and taking lots of photos. I also like to go to afternoon tea enjoying the fresh cakes and spending time with family and friends. I like walking my dog Fifi along the beach, and reading a good book.

Molly Cheek
Lettings Administrator

I have been with Red Squirrel coming up to 2 years now, and provide essential support to both the Sales and Lettings side of the business to ensure we keep our extremely high standards for all Red Squirrel customers. I am keen and ambitious to learn everything about the property industry. I have worked in both the Lettings side and the Sales side of the business. I like to ensure that we maintain our continued success with our prompt and proactive working style.

Outside of work

Out of work I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also like to go to the gym to keep fit and healthy. My favourite thing to do is going on holiday and travelling to new places, experiencing new cultures and different ways of living.

Emily Gibson
Apprentice Sales Administrator

As the newest member of the Squirrel team I will be working with the Sales & Marketing side of the business, ensuring our social media and websites are fully up to date and informative for our customers. I will also be writing regular blogs on things which are taking place in our local area or property related blogs.

Outside of work

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. Walking my dogs, (Rocky and Remmi) along the beach or around the woods. I like to go to the gym, where I will do classes or swimming. I am also keen on photography, I love how it allows you to explore new places and meet new people. Travelling is one of my favourite things to do.
